	MES dropping test PASSENGER SHIP As per Standard for Ship's Life Saving Equipment, the drop inflation test of MES (if installed) shall be conducted at least once every 6 years. This time we had tests for 3 MES out of 4. For those who have not witnessed the test, I upload test video. For your information, after dropping of MES, you need to confirm that it inflates within 3 minutes. For detail of requirement or other detail please refer to the internal instruction. 	Company audit(DOC) for adding a flag state 1. Company audit(DOC) procedure for adding Korean-flagged ships ; 1) Interim DOC (2.0 M/D) : If conducted simultaneously with company’s document audit, the audit duration may be reduced to 1.0 M/D. 2) Document audit : The document audit may be carried out after completion of the interim audit and issuance of the interim Safety Management Certificate. - Up to four(4) ship types : 4.0 M/D - Five(5) or more ship types : 5.0 M/D 3) Initial audit : The audit shall be conducted for 4.0 M/D for a Head Office with not more than thirty(30) employees. 2. Company audit(DOC) procedure for adding foreign-flagged ships ; 1) Interim DOC (0.5 M/D) 2) Document audit : Not applicable. 3) Initial audit(0.5 M/D) : The audit shall be conducted after at least three(3) months of implementation records of the Safety Management System(SMS) for the company and ship(at least one ship of each type and flag).
